Bayless, Weeks, and Smoger are all top quality refs.

Khan was firing back which is why I didn't like the stoppage when watching the fight live. But Khan was taking a lot temple and forehead shots. Getting knocked down by that glancing shot for the 3rd knock down showed that he wasn't getting better but getting worse.

    Agree with every word.

Khan was lucky Bayless gave him a little leeway after the first knockdown in all honesty I'd have not been surprised if it was stopped there and then. Khan was given a slow count and still had no idea what planet he was on.

Sorry King Khan (the user) but for once I'm totally in disagreement with you, which is rare :)

I thought the first KD it should of been stopped, but the last NO WAY, khan wasn't looking pretty but he had some strong moments in that round an the last exchange were he went down, it wasn't a hard shot, it to me felt as though he was just getting his legs back, an that KD gave him just a little more of a breather, so yes it was a bad stoppage, i thought he was in alot more danger after the first KD.....

I say this fight would went several more rounds,

He was knocked down by a glancing blow to the top of the head the last time and whatever you claim he did not look anywhere near allright. Bayless saved Khan a couple million braincells and perhaps a year or two of his career. You should be happy he was stopped when he was rather than take more punishment, but apparently you are so blinded by your weird obsession with Khan that you are unable to see the facts.

If you are getting knocked down by glancing blows that does NOT mean you are "getting your legs back".

i didn't like the stoppage. But i think it balanced out because no chance should khan have been allowed to continue after the 1st KO. Bayess cracked then IMO. He gave han 18 seconds. When he didn't respond from the 1st question at the the 10second mark. Fight should have been stopped.

But the actual stoppage. I think was ncorrect personally.

Based on I believe Khan could have held on for 10 seconds. Recovered in the minute, then potentially got back into it.

I agree with this, and as a Khan fan, I was annoyed.

But the fact Khan got a gift 18 seconds after the 1st KO balances it out.

It should have just been stopped then.

Khan never fully recovered from the first knock down, the 2nd knock down was a grazed punch, and yeah even if he said he can go on,that was pride talking.. The Refs can see when a fighter is done,it's in the eyes, not to mention he has to protect the fighters from taking too much punishment.

Khan just was still shaky, and not doing enough to keep Danny off of him.

He could've left it to go on a bit, yes. But Khan would have gone down again, and then in the corner he'd have towelled it. That or he'd have come out in round five and he'd have been KO'd flat out.

Massive Khan fan, but he was screwed after that first hit.

Bayless was on point with the stoppage...I think Khan woulda just taken more punushment and maybe landed up in hospital.

Sometimes as fans we want our favs to get that extra minute or so but in reality, would you take those bombs if you were in the position? Khan can always press for a rematch IF he feels it was an unfair stoppage

Stoppage was fine, but ironically, I almost changed my mind when looking at it through Bayless-cam.
