    Props to Bayless.

No one wants to see a 25 year old guy with his whole life ahead of him get seriously hurt.

Khan was okay after the first knock down. He just fought stupid in the next round. At the start of the 4th round he chose to engage with Garcia instead of just boxing and moving. When Mosley was shaken up by Forrest, in the next round Mosley did his best to not to engage and clinched everytime. The fight ended up going the distance.

And Khan's defense was ****ing horrible, he wasn't slipping any punches in the 4th round, he tried to be the bravado and trade blow to blow with Garcia.

Bayless made the right call, no way Khan was going to win that fight. He was practically out by the third knock down.

Bayless is a great ref. He done everything right that night, in my book. Some would even say he could have jumped in sooner. But I really think he done all that he could to be fair to Khan.

I think DOug Fischer said it best this morning:

"And be honest, judging from that referee cam HBO hooked Bayless up with, do you really think Khan had his wits about him? Let’s say Khan was the designated driver of a group of your drinking buddies. If you asked him if he was OK to drive and he nodded “yes” in the same half-assed manner he answered Bayless would you get in a car with him?"

I thought it may have been a slight bit too early or a bit inconsistent considering his condition, but that man knows what he was doing and was there in the ring with Khan that night. Justified stoppage.

agreed. khan may have been physically ruined if the fight continued.

as it stands now he is just mentally ruined.

Agreed. Good stoppage. If anything it could have been stopped earlier, Khan was long gone before the third KD, but for me it was bang on.
