So the first fight is for the IBS US National HW title. Are the sub-world level belts going to be used as stepping stones for determining world contendership or are they just belts people can hold on to when they don't want to step up?
I am David, and just trying to get the word out there. Tito Time - I don't know what gym it is but yeah he's still training and he has his stable of fighters - one is ready for the paid ranks. Well I could of called it the USBS (United States Boxing Syndicate) belt and made it a title eliminator for the World Belt like the others, but it is what it is a title to gain recognition to the next level, the next step would be the Continental belt then the Intercontinental then World. PNoyFightFanUSN - I hope that answers your question - the IBS US National is stepping stone belt to the Continental then Intercontinental
So the multi-tiered system is for improving your standing and actually working your way up to a World Level shot?
yes a multi-tiered system, if they are not already ranked in the top 20. the only way to get there is by beating the competition ranked higher than you, if you beat someone in the top 20 you get in the top 20. if you fight nobodys or no-hopers and pad your record it will look impressive but mean nothing.
If anyone reads this and has any questions regarding the IBS or myself, I will check this from time to time and reply. To get in direct contact with the IBS just go through the website www.ibsboxing.com
FJAY360 - Sounds good, but how long before that all goes to **** and corruption takes over? If you look at the other orgs they have a high overhead so they have to keep raising there fees to operate, for us its not about the money so there is no pressure to fill our titles. We are trying to implace a series of checks so it will negate the corruption, like outsourcing the rankings (we will have no input or bias towards a certain fighter ).
