Interview with Kessler today: The eye injury is now .....

    Kessler says that the eye injury has not improved at all.

    He also says that since it happened (in the Ward fight) he has not been able to walk down stars well, but that he is now getting used to walking around and walking down stairs even if he cannot judge the slope and distance of the stairs.

    I think that if you cannot even walk down stairs .. this explains why he had to slug it out with Froch. Before Ward he was never in any wars and never had to - it was based on pinpoint accuracy and judgement of distance, but after the injury his style became more and more based on just slugging.

    wow that's terrible....even wiht a messed up eye he still went out and slugged it out with Froch much respect to him and a healthy future. you don't want to mess around with your eyes.

    **** ward, ****ing cheater, his ****ing headbuts ruined kessler for his whole life. i hope that abraham or froch knock him brutally cold out.

    People bang on about how Ward schooled Kessler, well remember this, Kessler had one eye out of commission due to the accidental collision of heads and head butts.

    What really annoys me is some of the same people that have defended Ward are judge, jury and executioner for AA.

    Its a fair point. But Kessler is generally thought of as a decent and sportsman like individual. Rightly or wrongly Ward and Dirrel are not. Also why would Kessler try to avoid Greene?

    That explains a lot of things. I couldn't recognize Kessler in his two last fights. I couldn't believe he became shot so fast.

    Same here ! i know that the Perdomo fight wasn't pretty but he was comming out of a long lay-off to be fair. But in the Ward fight he jkust look awfull and this explain a lot!

    I just hope he can get back is vision and live a normal life!

    Excuses. He finally fought fighters above C level and now he cant see. Then how did he drive to the arena to give his speech about how he wasnt gonna fight in the super six?

    I hope Kessler recovers. then when he rematches Ward and Ward kicks his ass again he can say he broke his back and he thinks its spinal as an excuse.
