I understand what his listed age is. What I said is that I've heard some suspicion that his listed age is incorrect.

That is BS, I had seen guys get suspend because they had altered their birth certifique, that is not true at all, get your facts straight, you will never c that period, I'm going to give an example, Omar Linares was 15 years old when he made his debut in the National Series, he was palying against guys that double his age and more, after 10 years there you will think that he was an old man, same thing with Viciedo, he is in the Majors now and only 21, stevenson won his first Olympic Gold just turning 21, Kindelan, Hernandez, Savon, Gamboa, Casamayor they were barely 19 or 20 years old. Do you thin they going to have a 25 years old guy and register as a 15 years old kid? And 15 years later the "old man" will b still winning Gold been 40. Common man that is myth, they winning because they are good and have good foundation, their coachs are the best of the best, and they train hard, i think is a DVD out showing how kids train, check it out.

 

Is not a sponsered gov. fraud, when you start playing or boxing or whatever sport you chose, your mami has to get the Birth Cert. from civil records then is presented to the proper auth. they don't know you are going to b a star when you r four or five years old, beside the other mami will report you if you are cheating, because they don't want their 5 years old kid competing against a 7 or 8 yeras old, and they know the exact age because they are neighbors. And everything start in school, you have to go to kinder when you are 4 years old (I think) just by the grade you are they know the age you have.

 

He didn't altered anything, he lied about it, it is a difference, Tejada, Papi, and a few more of Ball players from Dominica republic, they altered their birth cert. El Duque didn't bring his papers, so he lie to get more money, but those kids that are representing Cuba in the Olympics, Panam games etc.. they all have the age listed, is no way you were 18 years old 10 years ago, and now you are 22.
