I really like listening to Nazim talk, he's really sharp. In an interview he said you can't tell anything from the pics of Margo's hands following the Cotto fight. That's the same **** I've been posting on the Cotto fight, yet I was called an idiot. You cannot judge a serious issue such as loaded gloves based on a single photo and a bloody face. Manny Pacquiao left Cotto just as ripped up bloody, yet no one accuses Pac using illegal wraps. Anyway, Brother Nazim is the man, and I particularly respect him being so humble, silent, and absolutely professional. He's just doing his job but doing it like no one else.
i honestly feel the wraps were loaded...yea pac bruised and swelled him up but margarito made that possible by tearing into his face with bricks and leaving gashes on this man face that otherwise normal gloves couldnt....dont believe the ****ing hype about gloves not being loaded...why would he load his gloves against a supposedly past there prime mosely if he was favored to win by ko.....he single handedly destroyed miguel cottos career by being a cheat...there is a difference in getting beat up for 12 by pac and getting ripped slowly for 11 rounds by bricks which basically made cottos face mush cuz he took bigger shots b4 he fought marg and barely came out of fights bruised besides that lip problem that he consistently has
Did you see what Marquez did to Pacs face in there rematch? Even some of Cottos opponents looked bad after he touched them with "normal gloves" Margo beat Cotto, because he took Cottos best shots and kept pushing forward making Cotto exhaust himself by backpeddaling. Thats what really did it for Margo the ability to take Cottos shots.
HBO dropped the ball w/The slander & promotion on trying to sell Cotto as an undefeated fighter, officer Nazim is correct.
