    LIVERPOOL, UK—The Crown Plaza hotel on the famous Liverpool docks held the press conference for Saturday’s eagerly anticipated domestic card featuring; Murray vs. Mitchell, Burns vs. Cook, Bellew vs. McKenzie and Gavin vs. Woodhouse. Fireworks were expected for the meeting between rivals, instead, a subdued atmosphere lingered when McKenzie, Cook and Woodhouse failed to show.
    Burns, professional as ever, strolled round coolly exhibiting his maroon WBO strap; but his world title defence has been upstaged by the intriguing lightweight clash involving Murray and Mitchell. John Murray looked calm, collected and ready; Kevin Mitchell’s cockney swagger conveyed confidence and he too looked prepared.
