WBA Super Champion - Felix Sturm
WBA Regular Champion - Gennaday Golovkin
WBA interim Champion - Hassan N'Jikam
    1. Avtandil Khurtsidze
    2. Matthew Macklin
    3. Andy Lee
    4. Martin Murray
    5. Fernando Guererro
    6. Darren Barker

Current rankings by the WBA. Sturm is due to defend the Super title against Matthew Macklin July 2nd. If he wins there a good chance a UK based fighter will become his mandatory. Theres also a strong possibility of Lee/Murray/Barker being involved in an eliminator somewhere.

N'Jikam and Golovkin are expected to fight at some point this year.

Why is there so much hate from Irish fans for Fitzgerald?

I was sat next to him at the MEN on Saturday and he was a total gentleman

Excuse my ignorance - what's the official difference between the "regular" and "super" titles?

Also, would the "super" variant of the super-middleweight title be the "WBA Super Super-middleweight Champion"?

Interesting btw Rob, if Macklin upset the odds and won there sure would be some interesting possible matchups

As for the 3 champions situation, it has to be sorted out, its beyond ridiculous

Barker v Murray should be made it seems the next step up the ladder for both fighters. Lee will stay out in the US and go down that route and might end up fighting Chavez Jnr by the end of the year would be the way I think they will look at going down. Also Craig McEwan would be a great addition in another year to the British scene and with fights with either Barker or Murray would be some fight. If he didnt gas in the Lee fight he would have won the fight and would be were Lee is now in the rankings.

Can't leave Avtandil Khurtsidze (really got that spelling wrong rob) out of this, we all saw in the Hassan fight, he's tough challenge for any of those lads.

Is that who number one is? googled the name Rob had and came up with some some ukrainian lightweight. Mini Tyson would be a tough test for any of the British/Irish lads especially.

Who do you guys think is the best of the 3 champs? Njikams my favourite to watch but is probably 3rd best. Golovkin certainly seems to be top quality but would he beat Sturm if the fight was made now? I think Sturm gets discredited a lot due to his opponent choice. Hes still a very good fighter imo

It's Khurtsidze, the guy Njikams had a really tough fight against for the interim strap I think

He's disrespectful to other fighters and he never shuts up. If he shut up and concentrated on his boxing instead of talking shite, people would warm to him. His missus is a fine bit of stuff though:good
