ok,this girl ive started seeing has agreed to watch 3 fights if i watch dirty dancing,i aint looking forward to it but hey ho.my qusetion is-what 3 fights would you choose to get someone into thes sport?
Pick good fights. But being a female look for somebody that might be seen as eye candy (in the least gay way possible), or somebody that puts on a bit of entertainment maybe a Naseem Hamed. Two guys beating the living **** out of each other she might not identify with.
Chacon vs Boza edwards Gatti vs ward 3 Hagler vs hearns Lopez vs Ayala any more maybe Ruiz vs valuev as shed like 2 guys hugging maybe
Tell her to ****off, an agreement is just " what a fanny he is " when her mates text her....... Name the fights, include Eubank, Simon and McGowan and i will say you are ok, yet stupid :good
not too sure she'd be into that, the female equivilent would be like watching jackie stallone and donatella visarce lesing off,not cool
Go for something that is a good entertaining fight but not brutal....go with a De La Hoya fight......De La Hoya-Quartey?? and maybe Froch Pascal and finish off with maybe Naz or Eubank fight.
you need an exciting eb and flow fight without a lot of blood, maybe leonard/duran 1 in may experience someone flamboyant and flashy in the ring or devastating and straight to the point also helps, someone like a prime Roy jones clowning someone, i agree Naseem hamed would also be good, Naz/kelly (my girl loved that fight) i would suggest maybe showing a little background of the fighters and the fight (to get some sort of affiliation) one of those hbo legendary nights type docs (only 30mins) would be good. watching leonard/hearns 1 means more if she knows and understands the signicants of it take everything into account though, the atmosphere, commentary, picture quality etc don't choose a fight with commentators who sound bored for example taylor/froch looks competely different for a casual depending on which commentary they listen to, showtimes great and others being shite
Take her to a live contest..... Rogie v Sexton... great atmosphere and a weekend Ireland..:good Or Froch in Nottingham.....:good Or what about a good local amateur show?? :good
haha,i know, its pretty low but if someone i know shows the slightest interest in boxing im all over it,it genuinly gives me wood getting people into the sport
Show her David Haye v Monte Barrett. It isn't too long, she'll p*ss herself at Barrett's entrance, it was an exciting fight and its an intro to a guy who will hopefully be on the scene for a while. My missus tells me Haye is easy on the eye too. Other suggestions: Carbahal v Chiquita Gonzalez I Jamie Moore v Mathew Macklin
