    he was agood boxer,sharp,fast .heput on some decent displays
    .but he was too arrogant.to the poit were it made you sick.that side of him always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

    it was a classic fight

    their styles gelled well together for non stop action

    While Barrera got the better of the argument - it was highly competitive fight

    Barrera was pounded in the 10th round but hanged on through the storm to win the last couple of rounds big and take the decsion

    no he had a good chin to weather the big shots that found him

    he looked a mess and off balance cos of his style.

    Alicea floored him but when you hang your chin out to dry with your hands down by your bollocks your asking for it

    I taped the fight live off TV in 2001

    on VHS video tape

    however I dont even have a VHS Video player anymore

    its all be thrown away

    its all DVDS etc now - such is the advancment in technology
