    I've seen the guy. He'll probably end up like the same career as Casamayor. Will be a Champ but will not be as Popular as Pacquiao. If only they have the same wt Class as Banal or Concepcion. Anymore prospect you got??? Are you Cuban??? I'm giving you only my own blood Fav Prospect. I have some fav Mexican & Venezuelan Prospect too.

    wake me up when these guys stop fighting trike drivers and start fighting some orange dealers. At least its a step up in competition..

    If this is another ALA fighter expect this guy to have his career ended quick, those guys dont know **** about taking care of their fighters. they like to hype up their fighters then throw them to the wolves for a quick buck(Ex. amonsot 21, bautista 20)

    Pinoy's are real warriors. They were not fed with burrito fattened bums here in the US & Mexico. Just look at those they fed to Chavez Jr.

    Come on Galaxy, I agree with you on that point but you can say Thailand doesn't keeps their pedigree boxers fighting trike drivers from the philippines and padding their records. I.E. they cottle their athletes and throw them to the sheep.

    your either quite neive or quite slow. if you wanna take comfort in thinking that throwing green fighters at prime compition is a mark of a warrior then go ahead. But stop and think for a second, think about these fighters not as some name on boxrec but as a couple of young kids, and see that Amonsot is 21 year old with NO future in Boxing while Chavez jr is a 21 year old with a bright future ahead of him. If being stupid is a mark of warrior for Pinoys then:scaredas:

    Not all Prospect will be successful. Some will win & some will lose. Some will be Great & some will end up like Bums & Journeyman. Pac was thrown in against the best of Asia in his teenage years. He just Proves he's a Great fighter. Amonsot show's he's a Warrior, it's just Tragedy that He's got Brain Clot that end his Career. Amonsot also was matched against same Young Fighter. Boom-Boom earned his shot for PDL by beating his Mandatory. He's Proven he's a Good fighter. He was just beaten by a Better man that night. Everybody thought Nonito Donaire was thrown to the Lion in Darchinyan. But Look what Happened. This Boxing, It's also called Fighting, We're just here to Cheer & to be entertained. The best Fighting Best is better than a Good Prospect fighting a Bum. I don't care if my Pinoy Brothers lose as long as they show & try to win.

    But why are you primarily a fan of Pac and not Amonsot? Why has he kept your attention? Because he wins and is a great champion.

    Amonsot will be a distant memory in five years, and it didn't have to be that way. What you want to see isn't always what's best for a fighter.

    Decent prospect, nothing great (yet?). Get hits too much, and if Melindo gets hit like that at a championship level fight, it would be good night. Proper training, proper exposure/management, etc. could polish a rough gem...

    Well.. Nobody among the Past Pinoy Great fighters achieve what Pac already achieved. Nobody in Philippine History make it to be P4P#2 or taking Million Dollar Purse like Pac. So I don't expect any current Pinoy Prospects will match Pac's success. I just appreciate what Pinoy boxing have now. They're 200% better now than before.
