IOC bans Russia from Winter Olympics 2018. Could this carry onto boxing as well?

We all know there's epic systematic cheating going on around those parts. That's an irrefutable fact that has been proven again and again. Many athletics that compete from there **** hot, again and again when Olympic style drug testing is involved.

The doping around those parts is completely out of control. It's unreal. Peds there are more popular than fresh water ffs

It is a major problem in the Olympics.

Will the summer Olympics also do the same and ban the Russian fighters from competing in Olympic boxing? We know there's a ton of juicers there as well.

If they do, do not be surprised if boxing starts banning fighters from competing, from various nations.

They weren't banned in the Rio Olympics, so I don't see why they would now?

Yes. And it needs to be the same for everyone, not just the Russian fighters. Unbelievable how American fighters like Bermane Stiverne can fail a test and get away with it but the man even gets a ****ing title shot!

The country is banned but not the athletes. If they we re never caught they can compete under neutral flag.

How do you wanna ban them in boxing if they arent caught ?
And who do you want to ban the boxers ?
AIBA who's corrupt to the max lol ?

This thread is either racist or stupid ...or both

Everyone is doping, just that the other super powers are smarter than the Russians. They dont centralize anything, they compartmentalize, so its very hard to catch the " system".

Doping in the USA is very rare and nowhere near how crazy it is over in Russia. It's been a problem for decades now, it's great seeing the IOC finally doing the right thing

Even though it is rare the ones who do it should be penalized appropriately.

Yes they should but in Russia, it's been a widespread problem, an uncontrollable affair and something needed to be done. This was the perfect solution

Pretty shitty that russian athletes who aren't doping are being punished.

Before the Rio Games there was a rumors that IOC would ban Russia's boxing team but they didn't and didn't take no additional action when Aloyan used roids to win bronze medal.

This was punishment for the last Winter Olympics were they supposedly have been allowed to take PED’s.

I think this is politically motivated anyway.
