IOC bans Russia from Winter Olympics 2018. Could this carry onto boxing as well?

This is the last set of punishment for Russia, after this they will be allowed to compete normally again, especially since RUSADA will be reinstated soon, unless some political forces at work from the West try to sabotage Russia.

Ys know what's funny, the full list that's taken multiple posters multiple posts has only a few names over who was caught at Sochi alone. Opened up to just the Olympics you've about 75 more athletes to track down.

Interestingly Russia has the most athlete caught for doping even though Russia has not participated the most or won the most medals. Even if you combined their entities.

 

Everyone is doping. Russia is banned for political reasons - like putin‘s aggression in Ukraine. I feel sorry for Russian athletes who pay the price for putin’s imperialistic ego

It wasnt state sponsored, it was corruption. The west just likes to twitch things up to make things seem more menacing. Also what Exum Wade and Carl Lewis exposed was similar to what is happening in Russia. Politics also plays a role here.

Exactly HOW many countries has the United States destablized after the Cold war? Hmm..... so much for dirty plotting Russians.

The whole country wasn't banned jack ass. The problem in Russia is from the highest levels of government the cheating was state sponsored.

To those of you calling this so called "cheating" state sponsored, let me remind you, that doctor Rodchenkov, the person who is accusing the Russians of cheating (and mentioned in the McLaren report-Canadian Lawyer presenting the case against Russia) never once mentioned Vladimir Putin or the Kremlin higher ups. He does however take the words from whistle blower Stepanova, that people were getting paid, some athletes paid off drug testers, Rusada officials were taking bribes etc, this is a text book example of corruption.
