A bit of a disappointment if that's true.

We should find out in a couple of days.

Check his twitter for a source.

Pretty weak if true. Pac/Mosley would have done better than that.

That is pretty low. But who knows, might as well wait for the official numbers.

    where's the 3 million?

****! Based on the guaranteed purse alone of the main fighters (Mosley = 7 million, Mayweather = 22 million), 1.2 million would not be profitable for HBO, considering that they did a 24/7 for this fight.

But if it happens, probably good because it makes the Pac-Mayweather feasible. Now, they can agree on a 50/50 split.

    I don't buy it.

I read it did a million pre-orders before the fight.

Would be good for negotiations, no doubt.

How would he know the official numbers when it takes HBO a week+ to add them up usually...heh

I hope it does that, cos if the rumours are true that Pac will agree to 14 days cut off window then there's no more roadblocks, because Floyd will have no reason to ask for a bigger % in purse split. It would do the same buys as Pac-Cotto except this got a whole lot more promotion behind it. GBP does a better job of it.

My guesstimate was 1.3-1.5 and am sticking by that. Anything less would prove that PBF is not the draw he(or his fans) thinks he is!

    Its still bloody good.

I read that each 24/7 cost 1mil to produce so thats 4mil gone.

66mil from PPV, 10mil from gates, probably another 10mil from closed circuits/theatres and thats about 90mil to go around.

If that's true, it's about the same as Mayweather-Marquez.

It could have done well in theaters.

It'll be 1.4 minimum I think. I would not be surprised to see it break 2. This was a big fight.
