I watched it on closed circuit at a casino in northwest indiana. It was packed. I talked to the guy that ran the room and he told me there were about 2000 in the room and half of them were walk-up on the day of the event. I think when the dust clears this will be at about 1.5 million and will be considered a success.

Yeah I think there's a bit of blow back towards both fighters because of the way the pac thing fell apart. Any other time and Joe public would have been twice as pump for these two guys fighting each other

The stadium didnt even sell out. it was 900 seats under capacity. I think Mayweather is a huge star- but mosley has nt got the sort of following that will pay or travel for him.

if the numbers are low- i think it swings equilibrium back in pacs favor and we ll have a easier time negotiating the fight- i think if it does big numbers that Mayweather will accept nothing less than 60 percent, and perhaps rightly so. Although it will lead to a impasse.

If I were in Pacs camp and say a kOncz and advising him- I d say, take the test, but maybe have a 14 day cutoff, but make sure you come out to the ring second ( we saw what happened last time)- in exchange for Floyds name first on the marquee, I d also insist on Pac being able to use Cleto Reyes gloves. No matter what anybody says- having used both- they are very different, they weight the same- but the distribution is different- and pac needs to use his weapon of choice, as does floyd- they both do.

Too low. I still expect the official to come out at least 1.5M buys.

Or at least beat Pac-Cotto for PBF to demand extra for a Pac negotiation.

I know, I am just using my observations of that room as an indicator about the general level of interest in the fight.

Perhaps the problem is that "Shane Mosley is not a pay-per-view attraction."

Iole is a tool. His source could have been a magic 8 ball, Dana White, or the tranny hooker he banged last night.
