How does he do? Put him through all the possible matches against world class opposition.

hard to tell he usually beat the stylists, lost to the technically sound.
the pure embodiement of hard cold reality.

pavlik i think would of been outmuscled and ripped into. but i think pavlik would of looked better than some may suggest. barkley ud

taylor would either lose in a olajide style match by iran just overpowering and throwing too many leads for taylor to handle. barkley ko mid-late

abraham i think is solid and compact enough not to get caught on the way in but would def take some hard shots. a greuling match of iran landing heavy but ineffective shots while abraham lands the hard noticable one shot. a ud arthur

ward would of stayed out of trouble and not got invovled but it's hard to tell what he has yet. for all we know ward has a glass jaw and can cut easily. maybe he falls apart under pressure...how do we know.

froch i think would look pretty good at the start by him fighting a guy with little defence and a plodding style could of made him an ideal target for his agressive horrible looking counterpunching style. by the middle and late round froch starts to get chewed up due to his own low guard.

bute should be able to outbox him pretty convincingly. but andrade showed that a balls to the wall agressive fighter could easily unerve him and andrade even though world class isnt near irans level of physical attributes toughness and ability and was able to drop bute hard and tired him pretty badly. so a late barkley left hook while bute is in mid combo could be the show stopper.

On his best day iran beats any of the top supermiddleweights! one of my dream match ups would be prime iran vs arthur abraham:good

I think given the way Iran's career unfolded he would not come out of the super 6 unscathed...but on his best day he has the ability to beat just about all of them.

Taylor he takes out no worries...I tend the feel he can outlast Froch and Im not that sold on Dirrell, so I reckon his substance would be able to overcome Dre's flash.

I wouldnt have him favorite over Ward or Bute...and Kessler I give a slight edge to, though its almost 50-50 for me without putting to much thought into it at the moment.

i think barkley stops taylor late - a realistic scenario lately , if taylor somehow manages to survive then it will be a close decision for taylor ,
loses to abraham by decision , beats kessler.
against ward and dirrell i don't know.
against froch and andrade i may never know ,
beats bute by either a very close decision or a very late stoppage in a career waster .
kessler is so overrated i am glad he was exposed by ward. kessler was and maybe still is the joe louis of the general forum.
