thats not good 2 hear...im a fan of the blades...another boxer as an example that they need 2 a have a fund when they reach a certain level of payday that is put away for them...

 

Yeah, it was a bit sad to see Barkley like that. It took me a few minutes to recognize him and I was right next to him. He seemed like a nice guy and him making a comeback was about a million miles from my mind at the time.

 

i dunno why a guy like the blade couldnt make some money just being a greeter at a bar or something...these guys who were terrors in their prime usually seem like the nicest guys...i know if i had a bar id b honoured 2 have a guy like the blade working at my place...:good :bbb

 

Nah, Shavers is a bouncer, the only greeting you get from him is if you act up. He works in a bar near me....

 

yeh i saw that ...he got intervied and he said he asked george foreman if he wanted 2 fight when george was on his way 2 the title in the early 90's and george said " i didnt wnna fight u then and i dont wnna fight u now" or something like that...

 

Very sad if it is true.

 

This potential tragedy in the making is a perfect example of why boxers need a comprehensive health benefits plan and pension. He should not be allowed to fight. His eyesight does not look good and this is going to end badly.

 

Iran is a nice feller , a big strong man but is completely shot to bits, he would be absolutely out of his depth.. Barkley fought Coetzee a few years ago at heavyweight .. they were obese..
