Henry never got to be a champ but he went the distance with Benn and Eubank In brave efforts. He had a lovely left hook and a solid chin .So if he goes up against super middle weight champ Barkley , could he grab that belt ? Henry was limited but he's fighting a unpredictable guy in Iran ..do we give him a chance ?
Good fight. A real good Monday morning quarterback type fight because the guy that wins likely does so fairly easily. As in Barkley's big shots from both hands win the exchanges. Or Henry Busts him up and cannot miss a punch. Probably lean towards Henry slightly, especially since the bout likely takes place in the UK where it could sell big. And Iran would travel. Just so many wars Barkley was in & you can go back prior to the Sanderline Williams fight. Everything was a battle. Now we might be saying another battle. But he sure could dig deep, couldn't he?
Barkley could certainly dig deep when needed, he was a warrior .Wharton , probably a lot less known ,a old fashioned Hooker in the mold of Cooper in some ways. He had a solid chin , taking Eubank and Benn all the way. He wasn't spectacular but he could whack. I kinda give Henry a shot at this. If he can take Barkley s clubbing punches and dig in inside , maybe testing Iran .We could see Henry cutting him and shaking him up .I'll go with a mid fight stoppage with Barkley cut up and eyes swollen. But Henry would have that Chin tested .
