    Don't laugh. Barkley was powerful, tough and on the loose. Let's say Moore took prime Barkley as a title opponent in 1953. Who wins

    Poor Iran.

    Thing is---he would definately sign the contract to fight him, wouldn't he? Not like recent times with careful promoters and managers. Not with a Barkley. If anything he'd over rule those suggestions.

    Clever Archie would bust him up for the cuts or swelling stoppage. Not the knockdown type big punches but accurate pinpoint shots to bust him up.

    Moore hurts him. There’s nothing that Barkley clearly outmatches Moore in, not even size or strength.

    Moore is more skilled on the outside and the inside, quicker hands and feet, hits harder, is potentially stronger, has more tricks up his sleeve and ring IQ.

    He’d set Barkley up constantly, he’d counter him, he’d outjab him, he’d land the cleaner punches on the inside, since he was more slippery there, had great subtle defensive skills on the inside, he knew how to move just that tiny few inches in the right way to make your punches not able to land cleanly, whereas Barkley was all earmuffs with a basic defence.

    Barkley would get battered by Moore.
    He was tough and I loved watching him fight, but Archie's gonna pound him .
    Moore by KO before the 9 th.
