I'm just pointing out that it isn't so clear cut. Hearns may have been lesser at 160 (still several levels above Saunders, Nelo, GGG, Jacobs &.) but he still had tons of power and an amazing jab. He also could box better than basically anyone.

Also, there's fair bit of evidence to suggest that Saunders isn't exactly granite chinned.

If he was several levels above the fighters you mention he wouldn’t of been stopped by Barkley. Saunders is not vulnerable in the chin department either

If he wasn't, he wouldn't have out-boxed Benitez or Hill. Or destroyed Duran.
Isufi rocked him a few times. He didn't exactly laugh off Coceres' shots either.

If you take a shower your gonna get wet. Never knocked out or dropped but he’s chinny ? Lol
You do know it’s Hearns that’s chinny in this match up don’t you ? You can’t argue with facts. Also GGG wrecks Hearns at 160, he just isn’t strong enough. 8 rounds max

I never said he was chinny. I said that he might be, as in the signs are there. He's fought two guys who can punch worth **** and neither landed anything significant in memory.
What match up? Hearns vs Saunders? Hearns beats the **** outta Saunders, whilst schooling him. It'd be embarrassing.

Also, are you really trying to say that Saunders was better than Hearns?
    Extremely doubtful.

His cardio"s so great apparently... perhaps because he never fights so is always full of energy for his lovable pranks like having BJ jnr punch another fighter in the nuts...or the great instrumentals on how to hit a woman in lockdown. Thats a real classy chanp

This is the same shepton mallet stamina machine who could never get in shape, stopped fighting the last 6 rounds against a novice eubank jnr at the time ...a fight i felt he lost...now 6 years later of fighting his cousin andy lee and 2nd raters in a weak division if u take ggg,sc and GJ out of it ,and refusing to fight legitimate 168 world champs .....having fought no one hes not only compared to the legendary hearns but beating hearns.

To me GGG and Canelo are 2 all time greats....who fight other top fighters....bjs is a con man ...following the amir khan route of try to convince the public hes elite level while doing nothing and always trying to steal a big payday he doesnt deserve before the inevitable khan style schooling at crawfords hands. That kind of schooling awaits saunders if he ever agrees to fight canelo or even this aged GGG...but tbh

    Everyones entitled to their opinion

I think the Lemieux fight proved what BJS could do if he really put his mind to it. That said, he's a lazy slob that has feasted on low level opponents for most of his boxing career and I can't really argue with much of what you are saying. It's sad to me to see a guy with this much talent swivelling on his own thumb for 90% of his career.

You can't judge BJS on his achievements the same way you can judge GGG on his achievements. GGG's career is nearly done - the guys only got 2 or 3 good fights left in him.

BJS's career is about to take off about the time the coronavirus vaccine happens...his achievements to come haven't all happened yet, so obviously GGG has an advantage if you compare them like that. Same with Canelo, but not to the same degree.

He's not glass chinned but he isn't iron chinned either.

Your talking like Hearns didn’t get layed out by Barkley, the same teak tough Barkley that was bounced by Benn. Saunders has a field day with him( Barkley), bad style match up if BJS comes in shape. I’m not saying Saunders is better than Hearns, but Hearns isn’t the same at 160 an above, if you let him box you have problems, but he’s just not robust enough to get in with front foot fighters like a Hagler or a GGG. With your logic, Duran should’ve sparked Hearns because he was very competitive with Hagler and Hearns was brutally dispatched by Hagler...Your reaching with “the signs are there” that BJS is Chinny, zero evidence. Now someone who was irrefutably chinny was Hearns

Saunders, Barkley is very overrated and lost to mediocre fighters

Barkley gave a faarrrrrrr, farrrrrrrrr better southpaw than Billy Hoe a tough fight (Nunn).

He'd beat the birth mark off that ugly ****.
