Very limited. Poor defense and scar tissue above his eyes from being a face first fighter all add up to trouble against a stylistically advanced, physically bigger fluid boxer mover like BJS.

 

Saunders runs. Barkley runs after him, catches him and... ...well, you know the rest... ....it doesn't end well for Saunders.

 

It's hard to fathom just how good this generation of middleweights are man.

Saunders is out-classing Barkley and is better than Hearns.

Murray is an upgraded version of Watson.

GGG is taking apart James Toney.

Canelo has a better defence than Toney, and Daniel Geale, Martin Murray and David Lemieux make for a better résumé than Reggie Johnson, Michael Nunn and Mike McCallum.

Hearns was still pretty close to prime for their first fight.

 

Hearns sliced him up for two rounds and ran into a giant right hand. Iran had good power, Hearns had a mediocre chin. **** happens. Hearns couldn't pull the trigger at all in the decision.

 

Lemmy is sort of the David Tua of the middle and super middle divisions , if he can't land the left hook he's helpless. Barkley was better with his jab and assorted hooks. I got Iran by 9th round KO

I agree, but we can't ignore the Nunn fight.

It looks easy on paper, but in reality it would have been much harder.

 

That says more about Hearns' chin than anything else, Barkley never won a fight by using his brains.

All the scar tissue above his eyes shows that.

Your mistake is that BJS has access to all of the digital content of Nunn's, and has included Nunn's techniques (which are a bit overrated anyay) into his own larger and better repotair.

With 30 years progress in sports science, training methods, potential explosiveness etc, comparing Barkley v Nunn really doesn't make any sense.

 

Only thing that doesn't make sense is your brain, but I wouldn't call you dumb because I get the vibe you're intentionally trolling.

Are you all crazy? Horrible match up for Barkley who lost to alot more lesser boxers then Saunders.
Slick southpaw with fast hands and a good defense.
Bad bad match up for Barkley who maybe wins 2/3 rounds.
