Calzaghe's a spoiler and quick adjuster. Barkley doesn't have much of a style to spoil or adjust to. So Cal's strengths don't give him much vs. pressure that intense and a head that can break your hand; he can negate Barkley's money punches, but I think the pressure would bother him enough for some of those bombs to get through.
