I'm going with Graziano, but Barkley has to be given a live chance against anybody.

Big slugger beats little slugger. Barkley prevails with superior size and strength. He also could box a bit when he wanted to, as he showed against duran.

Barkley, especially if Iran's given the chance to get up several times like fighters were in Graziano's time.

Don't forget how he kept getting up in the Benn fight.

Barkley way too big and strong.
Graziano tough -- but too small and lousy defence.
    Not a fair fight.

Barkley is / was too big and strong at 160 pounds in 1987 / '88 for Graziano of 1947 / '48....... Graziano was really a Jr. Middleweight blown upward to 160....... But this dream match would be a classic but short-lived war...... Peace.......

Could Graziano swarm him and take him out with quicker, cleaner punches the way Benn did?

Graziano was extremely crude, and not a sharp puncher in any sense of the word.

I'll take Rocky by late TKO. As big and strong as Barkley was, he was also easy to hit.

Aye, but the same could be said of Benn.

Benn was more refined then Graziano and could actually switch gears when he had to. It's not a massive step up from what Graziano was capable of, but there was a difference.

This fight would be bombs away right from the get-go, two former hoods from different parts of NY and a ethnic rivalry to boot with the fight taking place in MSG, that would have been some atmosphere at the arena! As for the outcome I`d side with Iran here, just a bit more durable and hard hitting than Rocky, and a slightly beter boxer as well when he set his mind to it.

I wouldn`t rule Rocky out completely though, the man can seriously bang and would have found ahome for that right of his on Iran`s leaky defense, and if he lands it enough times or on the sweet spot it could be lights out for the blade instead, either way I doubt this fight goes four rounds, someones gonna get laid out for the count one way or another, great action fight while it lasts with the fans getting their moneys worth for sure.
