my memory of pazienza in that fight was that he was the first fighter in compubox history to not land any punches in a round. but i could be wrong it might have been it was that he was the first fighter in compubox history to never throw a punch in a round.

    Close.

Pazienza threw 3 punches and landed none in round 4 I think. He started alright by roughhousing Jones along the ropes and two of the judges gave him the second but to be honest he probably didn't deserve that and he was trounced for the rest of the fight.

He did score an upset of sorts at 168 against Dana Rosenblatt who was coming up in weight and was seen to have a bright future but otherwise his record at that weight wasn't much (even with two wins over Duran). That said Barkley wasn't much chop at 168 either with his win over a faded Hearns probably his best effort but his most notable fight was his total annihilation by James Toney where he was hopelessly inept and outclassed.

Barkley's size advantage is all that gives him the edge over Paz at super middle imo.

To me Barkley is just too strong for Paz at this weight.

Barkley would kill Vinny Paz, lol can you imagine if Paz came at barkley like he did mayweather or jones? he'd get flattened by a big iran barkley left hook inside of 6

Paz was never very good IMO. He wasn't bad, but Barkley would batter him.
