Paddy just fought a guy in the US for the IBF Intercontinental title or something like that and put on a great performance.
I think he will suprise a few people in the coming months with how good he actually is becoming.
Paul is a lot like Dunne skillwise, but needs some more power if he is to really go far.
Eddie is the least talented of the trio in my opinion.

I disagree, the last 2 guys he KO'd one had been stopped 4 times and the other 3 times previously, I think his power is overrated to be honest.

  5. Hmmmmm

Very dodgy..... tell me how you have McCloskey beating Witter (or Hatton)

and Haye losing to Rogan..... Haye is Elite, Rogan is not simple as

Dodgy??? The undefeated British Champion Paul McCloskey has every chance of beating the Witter who recently lost a split decision to Timothy Bradley, is 6 years his senior, and who went the full 12 rounds with Lynes when McCloskey had him out of there in 7!

Haye has never been in with a guy like Rogan. I truly believe Rogan would stop the "elite" Haye! Like I said don't go getting all worked up, we are all entitled to our opinions.

  8. That proves nothing apart from that Witter is World Class and McCloskey is not..... Has McCloskey ever fought anyone like Bradley, Kotelnik, Harris, N'dou, Corley ??

Witters time has been and gone, McCloskey's time is just coming. You cannot state that McCloskey is not world class until he fights world class opposition now can you??

    Haye batters Rogan
    Hide batters any cruiser
    Woods batters any Light heavy
    Froch ditton
Middleweight close, i would favour Barker just
    Moore too good
Haughian to beat Brooks ?? i doubt it , i think Brooks is a star in the making

I can seea few irish wins but i think you are still high after Dunnes amazing win.

  11. But Witter is proven World Class ..... McCloskey is not

Still no explanation on how the fight plays out !!

Even if Witter does lose, Hatton would eat him up

Yeah ok, I knew the mere thought of the Irish guys getting the better of the UK lads would provoke a few condecsending comments like that. At least we have something to be high about!

  14. :rofl

    Yeh thats exactly it

You post a UK Vs Ireland thread.... Miss out the best UK Boxers, then when you do put them in you have them lose to Domestic level boxers !!! :-(

    Nothing to be High about

    Haye v Wlad

    Hatton v Manny

    Froch v Taylor

    :patsch

This thread is bizarre. I have nothing against Irish guys beating Brits, but making a thread where you basically pick Irelands best against a random selection of British fighters just makes no sense. I just cannot see what the point is, what does it show us? That that top level Irish are better than some of Britains 'non-best' fighters. How odd.

Not quite sure what you mean by that given that one of our fighters is challenging the #1 heavyweight in the world and another is challenging the #1 P4P fighter in the world.
