I actually took the top guys off boxrecs ratings for most of the match ups, what is bizarre about that???
Jesus you lads take things way to seriously!

    UK v Ireland:

    Haye KO Colin Kenna
    Hide KO Jonathan O'Brien
    Woods KO John Waldron
    Froch KO Joe Rea
    etc..

    Woo! 100% Victory!

  4. But you said Quote " But You can't have novices like Rogan fighting guys like Haye"

Then you have Rogan winning :huh

Looks like a WUM thread to me

You're an idiot, some of these match ups are eithering happening or were meant to happen. One actually did happen!!!
Magee V Froch - already fought
Duddy V Moore - talked about as a possible future fight
Hyland V Napa - was scheduled
Munroe V Dunne - possible fight
Lynday V Appleby - is actually happening
McCloskey V Witter - is actually happening

Now if this is not a good representation of Ireland V Uk, what is???

I still think Rogan would KO Haye, I originally tried to match up guys according to experience/level but that was not good enough for you was it? That's not to say I don't think a guy at domestic level could not beat someone like Haye, especially as Haye has fought most of his career at cruiserweight.
Would Haye take Rogans constant pressure, I don't think so, but again it's just my opinion!!

Don't call me an idiot. I'm only going by what you said in your original post, there was no mention of these fights being selected because they may have been talked about.

Yes, I admit I have already got my knickers in a twist. But, you did just say Ireland v UK boxing competition - not how would these fights that might have happened turned out.;) Hence the tirade of comments from UK posters wondering why you missed out their best boxers in this...

I know most people would say wtf Rogan beating Haye but take a look at the threads after Rogan won the commonwealth title, people were singing a different tune then!

As for our best V their best, this thread was meant more as a predition on how certain fights between our boxers and their's would pan out as there are quite a few Ireland V England match ups in the pipeline. We haven't even scratched the surface of the talent in our country so Ireland's best V UKs best will be a better question in a few years time when our guys are really firing! Just remember we only have a pool of 5 million to choose from as opposed to UK's 70 million so were not doing too bad!

as for rogie haye, they are at completely different levels and although his win against skelton was great haye is no matt skelton,

at the moment irish boxing is at the best i can ever remember in my lifetime and we would have some good wins :good
