I think generally, people in the EU only really give a **** about about European title fights if one of their countrymen are fighting for it, hence the lack of Brit interest.

To be honest, i'm still a bit gutted it's not Casey v Martinez for the title. That was a mouth watering prospect.

Lets look at a comparitive fight, say Scott Quigg-Jason Booth. If they were fighting for a EBU title are you telling me you wouldnt be interested? I would.

Casey looks stronger at the weight certainly.

Like you said Slap, this one's been killing me. So hard to pick a winner I haven't bothered putting any money on it.

Anyway, I'll go against the grain a tad and go for a Casey win on points. I think he's going to operate a barnstorming opening, but when Paulie weathers the storm (and that's probably more of an if), Casey and he will settle into a tactical war. Casey will have a big lead which Paul will wear down, and finish thee stronger.......

But Casey's aggression in the first 6-8 rounds, maybe even scoring a KD or two, will prove enough to win the fight

Nice fight! Hyland can keep up a good pace for 12 rounds, he has done it, but can Casey? Im waiting a very close fight and that Hyland might just nic it with his experience.
