I dont get what that thread is all about... If you skip to the final pages of the thread, you can see that it has gone far off topic..

 

Well I can see how this thread is maybe irrelevant to people not interested in Irish boxing so I'm not sure I would post this on the General unless the poster is hoping the fact gives merit to the possiblity of an Irish boxing forum.
However, sayin it has gone off topic is wrong. The last few pages are informing fans of the sport in Ireland about the progress of planned shows in the country. In fact, it's a testament to how fast the sport is growing in Ireland.

 

We really don't need a forum, the thread serves us fine. Plus there are lots of irish boxing websites
