he looks alright.... might be too much for magee...a fight with smith would be easier for him imo...a fight he can win
Sylvester wont fight Macklin end of story.Macklin versus Lee is surely the next logical fight. Both have said they are up for it and Peters could make big money on it in Limerick (thomond park was mentioned before).
Sparring went great with Joyce. 6good hard rounds and hopefully we can have another spar this week and that will finish me off next before the scrap next week
no opponant confirmed yet. It's doubtful Carlito will get on TV unless there is a lot of quick KO's in the three title fights above him which looking at the match ups above him is not likely. http://boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=593777 If he gets a KO himself they might just show the hightlight of that. I'd go down and video it myself but the brother is over that weekend.
Sounds good, I know Andy would jump at the chance for this fight and now Macklin is more open to a fight with Lee it looks like were gonna have a very big fight on our hand's.:good
why do we want lee v macklin? Forgive my ignorance, but is it not fair to say that this fight ends one of these two mens world title ambitions and puts up major roadblocks in their respective careers? I know Lee is a long way off world title ambition but Macklin might have a chance next year or late this year. Would Mackln not be better off going in against another top 10 fighter and angling for a title shot? And lee working his way through europe for now? Should we not be asking them to avoid each other for now at least and keep as many Irish men in the running for championships as possible?
Roman leader Julius Cesar triumphantly exclaimed veni, vidi, vici after he vanquished Pharnaces II following a failed coup in 47 BC and now over 2,000 years later the hendiatris has become the maxim of exciting heavy handed Belfast prospect Carl The Jackal Frampton, who took time out from training to talk to ***********.com before engaging in a taste of top class sparring with British super bantamweight champion Jason Booth. Enjoying the all facilities available at the newly refurbished Kevin Maree Gym and Fitness Centre, which sits in the tranquil surroundings of the Stirk House Hotel outside Gisburn, Lancashire, Frampton outlined his motives for crossing the Irish Sea and his plans for what is sure to be a glittering career. more at...........
