    Very good Paddy,

Sweeney talking about April 17th....I guess thats the Date Tommy Egan has in mind then...
And would be a cracking fight but i think Ian Timms may need a warm up fight before this one as he was out for a long time....

    But bring it on anyway

Any domestic clash will sell alot of tickets....
But do you think timmsey needs a warm up fight before a 10 rounder with sweeney...

Henry Coyle vs Spike.......Wouldnt know what to think of that.....
Spike was lucky against Ciaran Healy and Coyle got ko'd against Sinky......
Coyle or Spike should fight Robbie Long instead.....

that would be all well and good but Robbie Long needs that Rubber Match with Anthony Fitz! :good

Coyle would shift a serious amount of tickets out in mayo I think thats what sweeneys getting at!

Its too soon for that rubber match.....
Their last 2 meetings in less than a year will really take its toll.....Anyway let them build up a few fights with diferent opponents then when the time is right, Let them at each other again...:bbb

I reckon Robbie Long would take Spikes title away from him with ease.... then match him with Anto Fitz and when would you ever see Irish Champion vs Irish Champion:bbb

Good write up in todays Star paper about Carlos_Jackal some nice comments from McGuigan and the most interesting part was how highly Jason Booth rates Carl at this moment in time. Booth said " I was in there with a very good kid, he made me work harder than my other sparring partners. He has the all round qualites like the body shots he reminds me of a Miguel Cotto type fighter".

Best of luck tonight Carlos. I worked eleven years for a French company and I can assure you that they are an arrogant shower. An early ko would be much appreciated this end.

Paddy you little gem.......look what you've done

Sweeney v Tims would be a terrific fight and just the type of fights that need to be made in Irish boxing.

Coyle v Spike would be a ******* as long as it lasts too but I think Coyle could be tailor made for Spike. Coyle's very aggressive and very open, and Spike is the bigger banger and probably has a better chin too. I could see him taking Coyle out pretty early and looking impressive in doing so.

Best of luck tonight Carl, let it be the start of Irish revenge v France.

I laughed myself when I saw that. Sweeney might be keen on the fight, but put a contract in front of him for €0.00 and see if he'll be as bold, I suggest he might not.
