Sweeney was asking me what I thought of a fight between him and Ian Tims and I think it would be good for an Irish title. Tommy Egan should jump on something like that if he is to make a success of the April show.

Is the april show confirmed Steve?That would be a good headliner alright another few domestic dustups would be good,Hyland OHara,Power Waldron,Long Spike,Frampton Casey,Prunty versus anyone,
Cause they are all irish fighters they could fight for tickets,Everyone is a winner.

 

Good article,would love to see Lee in with someone like Darren Barker...anyone know what Lee's future plans are??Is he looking to go down the EBU route??

 

It seems that Lee is looking down the EBU route all his fights since Gibbs hav been european (except shuler) and he is fighting in Ireland a good bit and from rumors on here him and dunne could be on a card together so that would be in Ireland and Belgecham was a euro ranked fighter so it looks lik hes lookin dat way!

Good stuff,Lee and Dunne on the same card would be great.There's at least 3 boxers rated above Lee by the EBU that he has every chance of beating.He struggles badly with pressure fighters but put him in with a boxer like Barker or even Pirog and we would see a totally different Andy Lee.

 

Pirog would ko lee he is just a few notches ahead of him at the moment but there is time to improve. As for barker lee could definitely handle what she brings to the table......

 

Asikainen could be a good option for him. Chance for Lee to get an impressive KO.

 

What would that prove? pointless exercise....
