It is a shame. Nothing to do with him I know but he could do worse than fight on a card or two down here on some Peters/Hyde/Hyland cards. He's boxed amateur here and I can only imagine him getting a good reception from 99.9% of people (without getting into politics or religion or whatever theres no accounting for the 0.1% of gobshites). Its another way to keep active as well without relying on getting on cards over in England. Plus I reckon an Irish title shot is only 4-5 fights down the line. Just a shame McGuigan has his contracts. I'd be a much better manager/promoter :good
Hello all, Waterford man here. Big boxing fan, for some reason the last few years i've become hooked on the sport (pun wasn't intended but i'll take it). Just wondering if there's any news on Lee's next fight as i've heard Dunne is on the undercard and it sounds an excellent night, i take it there's no news on tickets yet?
From what i hear Peters is about to break his news tomorrow night. I think there is going to be some kind of 'on the night' announcement of his next fight. Maybe Lee's next fight too
Ammmm bam bam you silly little bugger it was 40-37 boxing off the backfoot was an under statment as soon as I hit him with a jab he got on his bike. I was hoping that he would have stood and tried to fight abit more with his winning record but ah well a wins a win
Right kids. I'm getting up late tomorrow (after midday). Going to watch the France - Ireland match until about 6pm(ish) then head right to the Stadium. If anyone wants the ticket get in touch with me before 4 or 5pm tomorrow I guess. Anyway, I'm off to watch McGuigan - La Porte.
Sorry boxrec had you 39-37 when i looked it up. Blame them not me. Nice to be through 4 fights and not have dropped a round though! I wouldn't wind you up on purpose because I'm not capable of running away :-( I might fall on you and do you an injury though :deal Great win though. You should read more on the thread about you fighting down on some Peters cards or whatever. I reckon you'd be at Irish title level by the end of this year. You know it makes sense
Anyone having a flutter on any of the fights tomorrow night, Boyle Sports have some odds on a few of the fights.... http://www.boylesports.com/areas/Sp...OTHERSPORT&bo-navigation=top,24.1,178.1,213.1 And they are doing round betting too.....

Well done Carl 4 and 0 and a win against another unbeaten young fighter cant do much more. Get yourself down south for your next one and we'll have a big night out,Paddy may even introduce you to Prunty.
