Neither have an 8 rounder under their belt but Farrell fancies it and called Wilton out specifically. The pair know each other a little and their is no animosity unlike the hatred with Maher and Prunty. I will be up in Blackpool next week to watch Farrell and will have a word with him - he is another Manchester Dub. as for Prizefighter I think O'Meara will win his first fight.
Digs between Slappy and Paddy in the bar afterwards after a controversial SD one way or the other. The Irish Boxing thread will never the same again afterwards :bbb
To be honest, there area lot of good fighters in it. Plenty of people tipping Prince Arron - he is a tall ****er and a middleweight but even though he was a kid I still have him and Duddy in my head and I have a feeling Hillyard will stop him inside the three, I used to think that Hillyard was going to be someone serious but he is a lazy gypo - but he can bang - hard!!! I dont really give any of the others much of a chance. O'Meara is class but without a heart but has a soft draw, Concepcion has heart and some skill but limited. Danny Butler, Danny Schmutler - put up a good fight against McDermott and his win over a rejuvinated Samuel is a good one but I dont fancy him. He fights Brett Flournoy who the scousers are banging on about in high terms but I aint seen him before to be honest. The winner of Pryce v Sinclair should take it down - I was there when Sinclair stopped a floundering Pryce. Pryce has supposedly stopped actin the "fecker" out and about in the Valleys but I see it going the same way and Sinclair taking it. Sinclair at 5/1 still sticks out in my biased opinion! and i have a touch over 100 bangers on him with a 3 banger EW bet on Hillyard at 33/1 to make the final - just to cover the bet in case the other two are fecked from the first fight. This content is protected QF Hillyard TKO Aaron Sinclair PTS Pryce O'Meara PTS Concepcion Butler PTS Flourney - pure guess! SF Sinclair KO Hillyard O'Meara PTS Butler Final Sinclair PTS O'Meara
I was thinkin, a fiver on Sinky at 5/1! :rofl I'm obviously a few leagues down from you lads on the gamblin' stakes
Jaysus don't talk to me about gambling. I used to bet some ****ing serious amounts. I'll be doing a €10 accumulator on Prizefighter, €20 on Sinky to win outright. I'll also be buying a ****ing rake load of cans and staying in next weekend too Recessions are brutal. I wouldn't gamble much these days but after Ardy asking for a prediction, me giving mine and seeing its 118/1, I'd be absolutely sick if I didn't back it and it came off. Its a real value bet. €10 returns over €1k if I win. And if I lose well its only a tenner
What can ya tell us about Wilton. He lost to Delroy Spencer and Uzman Ahmed which doesnt bode well. Especially as wan a Paddys farts would knock Ahmed over. And Uzmans entrance malarkey is enough to make you want to batter him. Talkin of entrances - this is Farrell's (which i tink is a craacker) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ9KtuRHXRc[/ame] Finally, Frampton - you said you were going to come out to Skii-lo for your last fight. Did ya, if not what did ya use?
Thanks lads, I'm not convinced about Hillyard, and Aarons form has improved considerably since Duddy[I was in The Stadium that night, and the"wee lad" was petrified]. I want to tie down why some think Butler[ who looked limited anytime I seen him before] can beat Flournoy who's undefeated and has beaten Yassine El Maachi. Is it because Flournoy has been inactive and Butler is a middle moving down, so people will assume he is stronger.
