Yeah I was just thinking the lad probably wouldn't be in tip top condition to say the least. If he can get in some kind of shape he'd be an intersting addition to the domestic scene

 

Chris O'Brien - born in Burnley to parents from Dublin and Mayo. Grew up on Sheriff Street from the ages of 5 to 16, considers himself purely Irish and says he would swim back to Dublin and fight Haughian for free if Haughian had the balls to put the Irish title on the line!

He is Kevin Maree's cousin their mothers are sisters from Mayo and both their fathers are from Dublin but moved to Burnley for work and then back to Lucan for a few year but their grandparents live on Sheriffer and he fought for Dublin Docklands BC.

He has a horn for gettin in the ring with Haughian!

Farrell has been on the phone to me again to see if I could line up his brothers debut fight in Ireland on the same night as an Irish title fight against Wilton.

Both Farrell's were top class amateurs over here.
