Haughian is in Very good hands over in the states with Brian Burke,

Brian has worked With Paulie Hyland in New York and in Dublin....He has also done alot of work with James Moore too.....Oh and Simon O'Donnell...
Fair play to him for taking Haughian over to see what the Americans think of him

Babyface goes to Hollywood, the Jimmy McLarnin story. Think it's by Andrew Gallimore

It's pretty good, treats him like a God and a bit repetitive at times, but an Irish world champion known as the 'Jew-killer', his is a good tale.

I love reading Schulberg as he is such an entertaining writer and his knowledge spans from the 1930s in the days of Benny Leonard to last year when he passed away.

Budd Schulberg - Ringside - is a must read
Budd Schulberg - sparring with Hemingway - brilliant stuff
Eubank's autobiography is an entertaining read

So if the next rte card is on May 15 with Andy Lee any idea who he is going to be up against and what will be on the undercard?

Also does anyone have any news on the Cubans? Just been looking at Perez and he hasn't fought in a year now and all is quiet with Garcia too. Seems to be an awful lot of wasted talent there.

Hopefully Lindsay can actually stay active now......Had a terrible past 18-24 months, with Hayemaker and Setanta going bust and so on..

Oh i reckon this year is going to be a defining year for Irish Boxing.......

So many boxers pushing for European & other titles...

    Pajo Hyland.
    Paulie Hyland.
    Eddie Hyland.
    Andy Murray.
    Martin Rogan. (when he returns)
    Stephen Haughian.
    Dean Byrne.

Rubbish, got if for xmas and not worth the money. Loads of silly errors in it and doesn't tell you anything most boxing fans wouldn't already know. Forget who wrote it now but he didn't seem to have spoken to anyone, just took pieces from the web and the papers. Dunne says he wants to write his own book now though since retiring so looking forward to that.
