Lads, I was lucky enough to have attended the duddy fight in dallas last week, and I just read through your comments and opinions directly after the fight but I was a little surprised that no one commented on duddys physical appearance (at the start of the fight he didn't look in peak condition) and his apparent lack of stamina towards the end of the fight, when his combo and duck n dive technique looked great but he himself looked exhausted and jaded and very glad it was a 10 rounder? I think I remember him stating before the fight that he was in the best condition possible - if that is the case then I am afraid the John we love to watch is passed his peak. What do ye think? Amazing watching him in that stadium, he loved the big crowd, you could tell he wanted to toy with Medina especially when Medina couldn't hit him in the last round, he looked like he was smiling from ear to ear!! And he defo won by at least 2 rounds, don't know what the SD was about. and did someone say they had an interview with John? If so can I find it online?
anyone have highlights of the Italy V Ireland amateur fights prior to the walk out. Would love to see what all the fuss was about.
OLUBAMIOW GETS TITLE SHOT [against Colin Kenna] http://news.boxrec.com/news/2010/olubamiwo-gets-title-shot Also it said in yesterday's Irish News that Stephen Haughian's fight in New York has been cancelled.
Thats a pity for Haughian what happened?? Guys any news on the proposed Peters card,Is it going ahead if so who is Andy fighting and who is on the undercard i assume Power and Casey will be on since its in limerick but anyone heard anymore about Sweeny/Timms or about any decent names that will be on it Andy Murray, Tyson Furey anyone like that??
Good to see andy using some head movement in his recent fights he is way to upright with very little movement hopefully this will change in the future
man, I am just home from New York and have near two hours of tape to transcribe and had to get ***an's retirement article out first as well. All in good time hombre.
