Ive seen his last fight against ishe smith and it was ishe hurting him in the fight not the other way round.They all have great ko records when they start out and soon as they up the competition we find out how hard they really hit. Jacobs punches in bunches and is a great counter puncher but as i said its andy who has the real punch power.

 

I'd love to see Andy in against Barker but it would never be made, not now anyway. Yeah Lee seems to be able to bang with both hands that carl daniels KO is a personal favourite

 

Not everyone can do what andy did to carl daniels thats a bit special.

 

Andy beat the EU champion in his last fight although the title wasnt on the line but the current champion is Proska so why not get him over to defend his eu title in limerick,Im sure limerick has a fair number of polish living there as well as the rest of the country so it will help ticket sales.This would be a tough but winnable fight for Andy and a nice step up.

 

Dout lee vs Jocobs will happen to be honest dont think jacobs would take the fight

 

With all of this Lee talk anyone know when he is fighting again.

Could we see Lee beating Jacobs? It would be a huge win if did.

Shame for Haughian, must be very frustrating being a pro, so many fights get talked about and even set up that never actually happen.

His career seems to have hit a bit of a slump, I though he looked very average in his last fight at the 02 against that journeyman. He was floored and hurt on a few occasions.

 

someone was telling me today that sweeney and timms sparred before- by all accounts Sweeney shaded a good scrap but timms hurt his hand on Sweeneys head..

Fair play to Thomas/Peters this and the fighters - yet another all Irish fight and one that isnt too close to call...

 

I hear Jamie Power and John Waldron are being lined up to fight each other in an eight rounder the same night :thumbsup

 

Some great all Irish fights happening in the last year or so, good to see. Now if only Lee, Macklin and Duddy would get it on!
