What a night of boxing the 15th is looking. The Lee bill and Mitchell on Sky as well it really has the makings of a good night of boxing if the rumoured Khan fight is on ITV its the cherry on top. I wonder how ticket sales are going and will it be a sell out.

Belfast 8th May 2010 Team Alio Show
Just to let all you guys know there will be a Belfast Promotions / Team Alio show in Belfast on 8th May 2010 at the usual haunt -

    Holiday Inn, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast.
    Saturday 8th May 2010
    Doors Open 7:30pm
    First Bell - 8:30pm
Tickets £30 (Limited seating first come, first seated)

So far the home boxers are -

    Luke Wilton (6-2-1) 8x3 Flyweight
Mike "The Rebel" Perez (8-0-0) 6x3 Heavyweight
Ryan Greene (Debut) 4x3 Light Middleweight
Niall Diamond (0-1-0) 4x3 Light Middleweight
Brian Cussack (Debut) 4x3 Light Heavyweight
    Phil Townley 4x3 (0-1-0) Middleweight
Paul Kayes (Debut) 4x3 Light Flyweight
    Paddy McGarrity (Debut) 4x3 Featherweight
    Vladimir Chanturia (12-1-0) 6x3 Heavyweight

Most matches are made but just need visa/board approval; once I get this I will update all the opponents etc.

Tickets are going fast for this show, some top class ticket sellers amongst the boxers so if your looking to attend get your tickets now as it looks like there we will not be able to have any walk ups on the night. (Not a sales patter there are a serious amount of tickets sold in the last 7 days, and they are now limited)

Anyone looking press accreditation/passes for this bill need to email

Please provide your name, organisation name and whether you’re a writer or photographer, etc. Press passes will be limited also. As normal I will send all the arranged bouts etc to the select press list we have already first before posting.

Any other information required please email,

This should be another explosive night in the Holiday Inn; the best small hall shows in Belfast are run by Jane Wilton.

Match not confirmed 100% yet, should be able to confirm on Thursday, I need the BBBofC to confirm its all ok 1st. I don't like posting fights that are half made and then get turned down etc just makes me look silly (I've done it too many times before lol). As soon as its confirmed I'll drop all the details here.

On a side note Vladimir Chanturia looks like a decent fighter. He has been inactive for 18 months but is raring to fight now. He is an ex Olympian and seems to have boxed in very good company in the amateur ranks.

As usual there are also a few debut boxers on this bill, Team Alio are always keen to sign new starts to the Pro ranks. from watching the debut guys in the gym they are all in shape and decent boxers, should be a few interesting fights on this bill :smooch

    Boxing hopefully ?

We are doing a friend a favour and giving Vladimir a run out on our show as he has had issues getting bouts recently.
