Just noticed on Boxrec that Dean Byrne is out on the 14th May in California on the Sergei Dzinziruk - Husanov undercard.

His opponent, Michael Lucero 12(4)-15(1)-2has been in with the likes of Juan Diaz and Tyrone Harris in the past and appears to be very durable. Hopefully this fight goes ahead unlike the last one, Deano needs some action.

thats 1K US dollars (about 700Euro) but if you got lucky last minute type thing who knows. I am not sure if you can check on the next ticketmaster US version if prices changed as that was what I heard a blok paid for the Hatton V Mayweather fight. MAybe they have come down since.
To be honest I'd love to go myself but I am more interested in going to MSG then Vegas. There is just something special about the big apple for me and MSG is the place I'd most like to go. If it was Manny V PBF would be amazing but would be on for watching any Irish fighter at the MSG just think it has something special with all it's history. Also Vegas not my kind of city.

Not too far away anyways but wouldn't be expecting ringside no. I think it would have to be a fight in veges if i was to go because a trip to veges would be alot easier to sell to the lads :deal

I assume duddy would have to beat chavez and then another opponent in a 2nd title eliminator - who is that opponent likely to be?

Arum said the winner would be fighting Sebastien Zbik who is the 'interim' champion.

    I have to say lads

    the klitschko undercards are ****

but man the entrance wlad had against Chagaev was worth the price of admission!

the big room in MSG is overratted for fights IMO...

Althought I hear the theater can be electric!

Duddy to win on split decision (even though it should have been a clear UD)

In fairness Moylette has finally cracked it but Ray has allways had to work, he won Irish titles about every other year on the way up. Ward on the other hand has blown everyone away on his way to Irish titles(except Anthony Coyle!) and has dominated at World junior and Youth level as well as numerous multi-nations. Nobody came close in Baku.
How good can he be, very good is the obvious answer but greater prodigies than Joe have burnt out.
O'Neill handled the useful Quigley well this year but by 2012 Jason will be on his case. I see Ward as out-growing Middle so it could come down to Egan and that's anyones call. Mine would be Ward in two years.
