think we will all be trying our best to get over to the states for that one,it looks a fantastic card,and a great night for irish boxing on the undercard.i believe lee will knockout eastman if that is who he fights in feb in msg.duddy will KO munoz in the mid rounds and go on to have one more fight before challenging pavlik and becoming the new middleweight king.

afterwards,andy lee will say he can take duddy any time,by which a grudge championship fight will be set up for croke park in spring 2008 infront of 80000 irishmen, with the undercard featuring paul mccloskey defending his ebu belt in a rematch against lyons,at the bottom of the card, it will include bernard dunne fighting for the irish super bantamweight title against a newly turned pro with a record of 4-0.

i do think duddy will beat pavlik though,i know pavlik has dynamite in each of his hands,but i believe we will see pavlik underestimating duddy and duddy putting in the performance of his life!

 

Sounds right unfortunately. they are so afraid of losing the 0 in the lost column. You can ruin a fighters confidence like this. fights like this aren't helping him prepare for Pavlic. Wonder what would have happened if he had stayed in "deeper water" right after Campas.

I just saw Yuri Forman win a decision over Tsurkian on cable last night. Forman boxes nice, good jab, Tsurkian, agressive but neither one looked like world beaters. Would love to see Moore in with either one. Hope he can really step it up this year.

Wonder if Macklin would ever consider fighting over here(states).

Also Craig McEwan looking good for the Scottish.

Son Regan travelled internationally with Da Silva. Regan scored a No2 world amateur ranking at L/Heavyweight in 1997.

 

Had 3 fights Ardy, won em all but did terrible damage to his left hand and hasn't boxed since but makes money out of corporate boxing.

 

For those of you critisizing Duddy's opponents the plan is to fight Munoz and have one more fight before Pavlik . That fight is expected to be for the European title against Sebastian Sylvester , which if it comes of would be more than enough of a test for Duddy to deserve his shot should he win .

Anyone got a prediction on when Henry Coyle will make it out of the 1st round in one of his fights ?



Duddy's been changed back to United Kingdom by Boxrec btw :roll:

 

His team mentioned it several times(including on tv) after the win against Eastman that he would have a fight in America in Februrary and then hopefully take on Sebastian Sylvester a month later in March(in Belfast) .
Now I'm not sure they can lure Sylvester out of Germany , but it seems they do have genuine plans to face him .


Boxrec have Coyle winning his last fight by 1st round Tko , but then again we know how accurate boxrec can be :roll:

 

I'd be going to the Limerick one but it's during my mocks :? , the first card near North Tipp........well ever and it comes at a bad time .

 

Unfortunately not , a boxing club was only started in my town about 2 years ago(and it's meant to be fairly ****) so combined with my commitments to soccer I've just never had the chance .

Planning on starting sometime in the near enough future though .
