It would be nice if somebody showed the Duddy fight live over here. I know in the past BBC NI have shown some of his fights the next night so if no one shows it hopefully there is highlights somewere. A real make or brake fight for Duddy in the US if he gets beat I can see him trying to rebuild his carer back home. Just put a tenner on Big Bang to win Prizefighter @ 5/1. There has to be another Irish winner of prizefighter since Roggies win Barrett was the only 1 to make it to the final if my memory is right.
Timms is saying his Irsih title fight is back on, saw it on facebook.Sometime in July he hasnt a solid date yet.He doesnt say who he's fighting though (hasnt Sweeny got an Amerian date coming up?),Wonder if Corbbet Timm is in the works?? Anyone know whats happening here?

His opponent that night was a popular boxer called Oliver Duddy from Coleraine[who was making a comeback]. A young O'Hara overwhelmed Duddy with viscous bodyshots, and the crowd in attendance rose to their feet thinking they had just witnessed the arrival of a new Belfast boxing star. O'Hara was to go on and win the championships along with best boxer award, accompanied by Martin Lindsay who won the Bantamweight title and best young boxer award. Since then Lindsay's career has blossomed, but O'Hara never really fulfilled the potential we all thought he had. Tonight is probably "sweet peas" last chance to shine, and I believe if he turns up with the right frame of mind, he can win this. Kevin needs to use all the rough house tactics learnt in Breens Gym, bully Sykes and stop the Englishman from getting settled. Sykes is not now and will never be a world beater, O'Hara has the beatings of him, but he has to believe that to come away with the right result tonight.
Dont know about that Mike,I heard the split between Timms and Dolphil wasnt exactly the best in the world. Good news on the show though where is it being held?
If sweet pea takes the first few rounds "clearly" this fight could be very interesting, think its gona be tough for him, hopefully we have another british champion!!!:bbb
