How did Marty even get the boxing gig? He knows next to nothing about the sport and never describes the action, just keeps giving the score, which everyone can see.

Jaysus Joe I just said as much to Paddy about 15 minutes ago. Have you hacked into my facebook account!

 

Marty describes all punches as a "good left jab" regardless of which hand it was thrown with or what type of punch it was.

As said already, his "commentary" involves a score update every couple of seconds and sometimes casual observations about fighters' speed and size.

His actual knowledge of boxing would appear to be on par with his MC skills.

 

He's also not EU champ any more...
