I dont think Kenny will make the Olympics in London it seems to be getting that little bit harder for Kenny even at domestic level. Next years championship could see the end of Kennys championship run of wins.

Lads lets not forget Kenny never won anything much before he got the Olympics. How many times did he disappoint in qualifiers and regionals. He's still good enough but it seems to take something out of the ordinary to motivate him

id say he will qualify for the next olympics , lets not forget he beat a few good boxers in the italian , and the estonian who knocked out the fancyed ukranian , and in the 1st round today he looked **** hot and for some reason just lost the plot

Yeah - I hope it gets a good turn out - the start of the world cup might lose a few casuals but then the world cup is on for four weeks - so it wil be like that for the next four fridays. I think we have some tasty match ups and would love to see the Kings Hall crowd lift the roof off for all of our lads.

*Boxing News will be here this afternoon - good to get a read at Carlos' interview.

*Nice boxing spread in the Newsletter today - good addition to get big rogies verdict on the fights:good

As soon as he looses his Irish title I think he may well take a leap into the pro ranks if he wants to. But his contract with the Irish team is the top 1 just to keep him as a amature depends on if his contract with the Irish team is medals related and him qualifing for all the competitions or not. Wouldnt mind seeing him turn pro but I think he has left it late to turn pro imo.
