My head says he should go the IBF route. My heart say take on Barker and KO him to stop all the talk about him!

I think mack could get sylvester out of there early as well. Karmazin was snappin sylvesters head back with triple jabs for the first 4/5 rounds of that fight.i could see mack just putting a straight right down the gap and goodnight.

im gutted lindsay wont be out again until september...signing maloney now seems like a bad move imo, and it says in todays newsletter that martin is getting frustrated with this inactivity:verysad

Can someone exlain to my why Warren was placing bids for Macklin? I mean Peters is Macklin's manager right and Hennessy is Barkers so what is in it for Warren is he going to offer a 50/50 split on tv rights or tickets or something? what is the business model here?

Maloney has got a real headliner for Belfast and there is a dearth of those, so I hope he is active in running shows in Belfast - that is what Martin wants. As for the other promoters, Maloney offered Martin the best deal - so fingers crossed he gets two good fights in before the end of the year.

well Peters bid for it so they must be interested. Macklin was a Warren golden boy at one stage?

Plus Macklin is gauranteed 40 percent of that purse bid- not a bad pay day for a gimme.

didnt Barry Hearn used win purse bids for fights he had no involvement in quite a bit in the 90s. seems warren is starting something similar with these macklin and rhodes bids. also tony bellew just posted in the brit forum, something that leads me to think Warren has signed a tv deal with someone other than sky
