We are getting the ball rolling on the supporters club stuff in May. We are definitely running an amateur show in Attical (Co Down). It is looking like the Down/Armagh development squad against and Antrim select, so should be of a good standard if any of you fancy a trip into the heart of the Mournes.

Also hoping to have an evening in either Belfast or Dublin (then vice versa the next month). Just a meet up, maybe to coincide with a fight on TV. Will try and get a pro or two to come along for a Q and A.
So which is it to be folks - Belfast or Dublin. In time I will get stuff going in places like Derry, Limerick, Cork etc - so be patient!

crazy having 2 shows on the same night in the same city,why not have a friday night show and a saturday night show or have them weeks apart,there are many regulars to boxing events in ireland that will be highly disappointed.mcguigan's son in the ulster finals,not bad considering he's only recently started boxing,he's got those really long arms that suit the amateurs so much.
no word on duddy's or mccloskey's plans as of yet which is disappointing,i hope duddy's career isnt going to come to a stand still after his last performance,really though i don't know why pavlik is looking to fight rubio in sept/october rather than duddy,it doesnt make much sense as duddy has become a mandatory recently.
same deal with mccloskey,he hasnt had the luck of dunne,duddy and lee when it comes to the promotion of his career and i hope that he can pull of a fight with lynes leading to better things.

an amateur show would be good to go to,all in all the more people that go the more likely they'll put on more shows which is always good.
belfast first cormac, could make it coincide with the pavlik fight or the mosley fight and try and get a late license or just a good ol' fashioned lock in.

 

Havent seen either! I have a stack of videos to watch over the next couple of days so will know more then. I hear neither was particularly exciting, but didnt expect them to be. A lock in would be an ideal situation - but the chances of a bar that would allow a bunch of strangers one these days isnt great.
The Hatton fight is on on 24th but it costs a tonne to show it in a bar
so it'll probably be May 30 or 31. Possibly with a classic fight screened. Not sure yet but will keep you posted - venue still to be decided!

Dunne will win any popularity comp. between him and Jamie Moore on the 12th.

 

hey slapbangwallop... the partitionist remark..wasnt meant to offend...its just an observation that some northerners have about the south...we can agree to differ right:good ...as i said in an earlier post...my choice of words could have been better...i just thought that we had similar political views when i seen your avater..and it upset me the difference being made between northern and southern fighters with the flags and all...but lets forget about the politics...and stick to boxing...is everything cool now
