****ing hell fella. I wouldn't be as sly. They can ban me but they will never silence me (until they ban me permanently)

Although, its nice to know that I have the 'maximum banjo' making an impression on people :good

According to an interview with Boxing News Online, unbeaten British heavyweight prospect Tyson Fury (11-0, 9KOs) could be facing veteran Vinny Maddalone (33-6, 24KOs) of New York in the month of August. Maddalone will be a step up for Fury. He's only been stopped by Brian Minto and Evander Holyfield. Fury said there are discussions taking place to stage the fight in the month of August, and Showtime has shown interest in televising the fight in the United States, probably on their ShoBox series.

Fury has the following going for him
    1> Great Reach
2> An Interest in his career by people that either hate him or follow him
3> An English title and undefeated record
    4> He is only 21 or 22 I think
5> An ok chin from what I have seen anyway
6> A little bit of spirit
    7> Some personality
8> Not necessarily quick feet but good for his size

    Now here are the problems

1> He is not in the best shape he could possibly be in
2> He does not look completely motivated
3> He needs a proper trainer
4> He looks vulnerable some times

The reason I think he has potential is that these 4 problems could be fixed.
I think we will never know how much skill he has until he has been trained properly and shown to be motivated. But it wouldn't surprise me if he packed it all in he looked awful in there with McDermot and he didn't look like he really wanted to be there.

If he could get motivated I think the rest could fall in to place and with a proper trainer he could improve a lot. The first 2 rounds against McDermott he boxed well so he didn't look awful from that point of view just in terms of stamina. Maybe I'm being too generous here but I think he could actually go well in the business!

Yeh maybe the question could be will he be successful enough to challenge for a Euro Title or an international title.

I wonder if Fury would fight Barrett for the Irish title? Then the winner of that to fight big Roggie if he comes back and then a fight for the British title.
Any news on Kevin McBride I know he is fighting again soon but could he come back and fight for his Irish title again against the winner of Roggie and Furry if it goes that way or will McBride stay in the US.

I dont usually go in for all this shít but I hope that Macklin beats Barker so badly that Barkers heart breaks and he retires.

I've already a semi on for this fight.

    WHos going?

Considering going alright. Let's see, if I can get the standard free ticket, rope in the boys and spin it as a 'birthday weekend' and get the time off work, I'll be there!
