Depends on if the contract stipulated an exact time for the weigh in. First he said he was at work and then he said he couldnt make Thursday because he had a wedding. But Derby is less than an hours drive away from Doncaster (assuming the wedding was in his hometown).
what price for that hotel slappy- defo thinking of going, unless that froch fight is here! I think they are down for the same date? Does anyone know if that super six fight is here will they get a irish undercard???
I just called the Novotel there and they say that the bar is open 24 hours for residents. Result:good I will probably book my flights and hotel on Friday when I get back.
Its strange as his trainer jack shinfeild was there he should have known that he wasnt gona make it, maybe his nuts have gone after that sweet one punch ko from sexton? But since it looks like its rescheduled maybe not. Where does all this leave luke?

come on girls, of course the Gunner is going to have done his research - bar - check, no taxis needed - check, close to transport connections - check, beside the venue - check, decent gaff - check, cheapest within a close radius - check! :good

Good work Slappy - this ticks all the boxes - the 24 hour bar is a must - gotta talk some boxing over a few scoops after the fights:good
Good call paddymickey - you indeed did champion this excellent idea and I see you bumped your thread on the Brit Forum - quality:good
Hey, a lot of knowledge on this thread-some of it with vested interested naturally, its a buisness afterall, but could we arrive at a consensus top 5 Irish ratings in every weight, pro and eveb Am? I mean Heavy 1 Rogie 2 Mc Bride etc!
