Lads, you know the way there is talks of having Froch v AA in Ireland. Would Peters be co-promoting this then? Like, could we expect to see some Irish fighters on the undercard if they got it here? Nice bit of exposure if any of our lads get on that card.

to be fair lafds caseys only had a handful of fights and in a short period of time too. lets leave him enjoy his prizefighter win and take a few winnable fights before he gets pushed onto this level. I like willie but at the end of the day I think he could have serious problems with a slick boxer

No chance of that with the Showtime contract. But I just thought they would get a promoter familiar with the Irish boxing scene to co-promote it. It's all very hypothetical anyways. Prob won't even happen.

 

na peters deal is that rte cant show a card that isnt his but he can give his to the highest bidder.thats my understanding anyway

whats peters plans?...it says in todays irish news he has won the purse bids of the european superbantamweight title[ kiko martinez]... also there will be purse bids for paddy and paul hyland eu title fights soon... do you lads think there will be a large show at the o2 in the near future:think

There has to be. There is a huge gap to be filled since Dunne retired. Ireland needs some new boxing heroes. Could Lee be on the card? :think I'd be shocked if there was not another big O2 show before the year is out.
