Good stuff. Any idea of possible opponents or who else might be on the card?

As you already know McGuigan is promoting in Belfast on a six-fight deal. All set to be the start of something huge for Irish boxing.

Will hopefully get some snaps up later from today's proceedings.

Im torn!! which one to go to! But six garanteed shows in 12 months is great. We might as well rent a house in belfast for september- if Roggie, Lindsay, McCloskey, Carl and magee all fight it will be amazing.

Some might say fans cant afford that many shows, but at least they have an option of lots of fights!

No doubt this is a poor opponent but if Andy comes through this unscaved, fights again in August and in September i really dont give a shite who he fights and fighting a guy like this probably will get him a fight against Sturm.Strange but thats the way Sturm seems to operate.

Does Lee even want to to be a boxer. Since the Vera loss he seems to have lost ambition in his career. Hopefully he can pick it up after he beats this fella.

    ???

He was back in Ireland to get a european title shot he did everything that was asked of him

Peters said he would get one in "the Fall"

Then Macklin was put in as mandatory fighting Barker in "The Fall"

So Andy is off to the states to rebuild his profile there

Definite change of attitude in his last fight looked more confident it was a pity he didnt get to stop that guy.A good stoppage win here against this guy may not mean a big deal in the boxing world but might just make a big diffrence in Andys head.Either way needs to be in against a top ten by years end untill then he can fight who he want IMO.Ends justify the means and all that.
PS Cant see him getting the Sturm fight.

So Barry has a deal with Setanta to show his fights. Thats a good move and hopefully it is a sign of things to come from Setanta. So Carlos has got a TV Deal move over Sky hello Setanta. Great news for Irish boxing.
