Citywest isn't going to happen for me chief. I'm camped out in St James most of the time at the minute.

I don't know what size. Large I suppose. Sure if its too big I'll look like a white boy rapper or something

    Gavin: First title fight

Frankie Gavin will take on Michael Kelly for the vacant Irish light-welterweight title on September 18.
The Birmingham youngster will be fighting for his first belt in only his eighth contest since joining the paid ranks 18 months ago.
And he will be doing so in front of his home fans at the LG Arena as part of Frank Warren's

    huge 'Magnificent Seven' promotion.
The 24-year-old has stopped six of his seven victims so far and is looking to put on a show against Kelly, who has an 8-1-1 record.
"Since turning pro I've been driving Frank mad to get me a title shot and he's told me to be patient and learn my trade and my time will come," he said.
"I feel that I'm ready to challenge for a title and this fight against Kelly has really got my juices flowing.
"My parents are from Ireland so I will be very proud if I can lift this title.
"I've won all but one of my fights by stoppage, and I will be looking to finish off Kelly early.
"I'm sure he is going to come and give it a go, and I'd love it if he did because I am at my best when opponents look to be aggressive."

Has Kelly a chance at all ??

The famous Cronan tactic of answering a question with a question. It works on others but not on the Gunner! ;)

Has Prunty offered to fight Maher? I don't know and that issue is neither here nor there.

O'Brien is officially calling Prunty out and wants to fight him on the September 11 bill in Dublin.

Either he has the balls to step up to the plate and accepts the offer or he can fúck off in his VW camper and stick to ab crunches, growing dreads and enjoying the sunset! :rasta

Time to put up or shut up for this kid! :good

A fighter with 9 fights(or 48 rds) under his belt calling out a fighter with 3 fights(or 6 rds). Wouldn't it make much more sense for Chris O'Brien to fight Kieran Maher ? Have it as an 8 rounder and get the BUI to make it an eliminator for the Irish title.

Maher wont be stepping up for a few years as he is a very young 19 and Hatton wont be letting him near a "fight" for a couple of years.

Prunty is 26 - a different kettle of fish - and will have another fight this weekend as well.

If Prunty cant handle O'Brien's KO rate or isn't able to do 8 rounds then let him (or his PR agency AKA Patrick Cronimski) come out and say it so they can look for someone else.

But let the record show that O'Brien wants the fight and is available for the date and take it on a tickets only basis.
